- I had some basic LEGO as a child, nothing fancy, and I do remember one Classic Space set in particular but not all the details of it. I don't even know if it was supposed to be for me, or one of my older sisters. Based on my recollection of certain parts I remember seeing, I think I can identify it as the #6929 but I have no physical evidence. By the time I was 12 Nintendo came out and that was pretty much it for me and LEGO so I put the ice cream pail full of bricks and fence pieces away.
As an adult I dabbled here and there, mainly buying cheap buckets at garage sales for when I would later have children (and I still have those). Then I became a collector five years ago and am now primarily into pre-2000 sets, but City is what originally got me hooked in 2017: loved the detail and playability for my 5 kids at that time. Christmas 2016 saw me buy large sets for each one, and I have not looked back.
I started a YouTube channel in 2021, BrikFam, detailing my and my family's LEGO experiences. I publish at minimum once a week.
