HEAD as the main sponsor at the WorldChanger Tennis Tournament On Monday 24th we had the incredible opportunity to support the 2nd WorldChanger Tennis Tournament at the Bio- und Wellnessresort Stanglwirt in Austria. This event focused on creating a positive impact and raising funds for the Alexander Zverev Foundation. The tournament was the perfect venue to showcase our prototype tennis and pickleball paddles, developed in collaboration with Toray Carbon Fibers Europe and made from bio-circular carbon fibers (using the mass balance approach). Toray’s bio-circular carbon fibers are created with the waste and residues of biological origin from the start of the supply chain. At the event the guests and many celebrities were able to extensively test the new racquets during the charity tennis tournament. As an environmentally responsible sporting goods manufacturer, HEAD acknowledges that there is still much to be done to reduce harmful emissions and protect biodiversity. Two is better than one! After winning an award for our Extrem Pro padel racket in the Testea Best Padel competition on Wednesday evening, we can now proudly announce that we have won a second award 🤗! In the category Best-performing padel shoe we took first place with the brand new Motion Pro BOA padel shoe! So there was not only one award for us - no, with our HEAD padel products we won twice! The Spanish laboratory Testea Padel, based in Valencia, specializes in and independently tests padel products. The entire Padel industry - from manufacturers to pro players - rely on their results. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the products are tested and scrutinized to the utmost. The tests were carried out with the support of the Institute of Biomechanics (IBV) and were performed both in the laboratory and on the court. Our Motion Pro BOA padel shoe has been tested for parameters such as cushioning, traction/grip and shock absorption and scored top marks for optimum fit and best comfort. For perfect performance on the court, not only is a good racket important, but a precisely fitting and dynamic shoe is often underestimated. And the Award goes to... Yesterday evening during the World Padel Summit in Málaga the time finally came and we were delighted to receive our award. The Testea Padel Racket Awards took place for the second time and we achieved the sensational first place with our Extreme Pro padel racquet as we won in the category Best Power Racket! Testea Padel is a Spanish laboratory based in the Polytechnical University of València and specializes in testing and inspecting all padel equipment. They use state-of-the-art technology and machinery to carry out independent padel product tests. Worldwide premium manufacturers rely on their tests and results, so it is a special honor for us to achieve first place with our Extreme Pro padel racquet! Our padel racquets were tested for factors such as power, maneuverability, control, sweet spot and ball rebound.
