Raman was brought in this April with a four-part remit. Raman, who was vice-president of Bloomberg Business Week Middle East for three years before taking up the Khaleej Times role, has been tasked with launching new products, realigning the organisation’s processes, updating the core product and people’s perceptions of it, and keeping Khaleej Times a publishing success. Raman’s first day coincided with the newspaper’s 39th birthday celebrations.

KT bags top honours at WAN-IFRA conference

Khaleej Times bagged some of the top titles during the Digital Media Awards 2017.
It picked up the award for 'Best Innovation to Engage Youth Audiences'. And taking gold for the 'Best Data Visualisation' was the 'KT Value-Added Tax (VAT) Calculator'.
Held in Dubai on the first day of the 13th edition of the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) Middle East Conference, the awards bear testimony to the persistent efforts of Team KT in being at the forefront…Khaleej Times bagged some of the top titles during the Digital Media Awards 2017.
