Read and Publish agreements – participating journals and institutions

OUP has Read and Publish agreements with institutions and consortia which provide funding for Open Access publication. This means eligible authors from participating institutions can publish Open Access, and the institution will pay the charge. Check your eligibility by visiting your agreement page via the links below.

How can authors affiliated with participating institutions make use of the OA funds?

If you are an author from one of the following institutions you may be able to publish Open Access and your institution will pay the charge.

To be eligible for one of OUP’s Read and Publish agreements, the corresponding author must provide their qualifying institution as their primary affiliation when they submit their manuscript. After submission, changing who is designated as the corresponding author will be permitted only where there is a substantive reason to do so. For the avoidance of doubt, changing the corresponding author in order to access Read and Publish funding is not permissible.
