- Stage entertainment will begin at 10:15am and will conclude with a headline performance by Kardinal Offishall (3:00pm to 4:00pm)
- Official welcome at 12:15pm with Mayor and Members of Council and Dignitaries

He has collaborated on hit records such as “Beautiful” with Akon, “Just Dance” with Lady Gaga, “Numba 1” with Rihanna and made history with “Dangerous” which scorched to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts, making him the first rapper from Canada to do so in history. Kardinal has added TV star to his repertoire, serving as a judge on Canada’s Got Talent alongside Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh and Trish Stratus. He ran with the torch during the Olympics, performed for Nelson Mandela, and was federally appointed one of Canada’s ambassadors during the country’s 150th anniversary of its confederation.

Park & Walk: Free parking is available at the venue and is a short walk to the event site.
Shuttle Bus Service: Free parking and shuttle bus services will be running from the following locations:
Pick up: Al Palladini Community Centre (9201 Islington Ave.)
* Parking spots are also available at Emily Carr Secondary School (4901 Rutherford Rd.)
Drop off: Boyd Conservation Area (8739 Islington Ave.)
Service begins at 9:00am and the last pickup at Boyd Park is 4:30pm.
Free giveaways for the first 100 shuttles users from the Al Palladini pick up location. Shuttle Support by Adidas Woodbridge Corporate Store.

Food vendors are subject to change. Some may only accept cash. There is no ATM at the park.

Participation as a vendor or booth for 2024 Vaughan Celebrates Canada Day is now closed. Please email vaughancelebrates@vaughan.ca to discuss future opportunities.
Requirements for Participants (Booths, Food Vendors)
- Participant Agreement Form
- Payment
- $550 + HST for food vendors and businesses, $250 + HST for not-for-profit organizations, or $1,500 + HST for Touch-a-Truck section
- A Certificate of Insurance naming the Corporation of the City of Vaughan as an additional insured – use the City’s template
- If you are unable to get a Certificate of Insurance, email vaughancelebrates@vaughan.ca to find out how to purchase one-day event insurance.
For Canada Day, also include Toronto and Region Conservation Authority as an additional insured.
Food vendors also need to provide:
- The York Region Vendor Application Form will be sent directly to York Region Health Department and provided to Events Staff.
- Form is found under “Vendors”: https://www.york.ca/health/food-safety/special-events-farmers-markets-and-wild-game-dinners
- Any applicable licences (restaurant licence, refreshment vehicle licence, etc.).
What to expect as a participant (booths, food vendors)?
- 10'x10' spot unless you have a food truck or purchase additional spaces
- 1 table and 2 chairs will be provided and more can be rented for a small fee
- Typically situated on grass
- Many booth participants and food vendors bring a 10'x10' tent with tent weights (staking is not permitted); no tent, pavilion, etc. is provided
