Beyond merely acquainting parents with available resources, this session(s) is designed to help you understand the ways we aim to foster belonging so that your student can flourish at NYU. We will discuss ways you can encourage your student to embrace a growth mindset during the initial weeks of classes as they face the inevitable bumps and challenges of their first year. We will also share specific strategies aimed at supporting your student’s journey to find their rightful place within the vibrant NYU community.
