While Rory McIlroy might not have achieved his US Open dreams this year, his personal life is looking a little more stable following the news that he and his wife, Erica Stoll, have halted divorce proceedings and have decided to give their marriage a second chance.

McIlroy filed divorce papers in May to his wife of seven years, but after weeks of talks, the pair, who have a three-year-old daughter called Poppy, have decided to give their marriage another chance.
