BMW have upgraded the 2 Series Coupe, prices for which start at €52,730.

There are new design highlights at the front, as well as new steering wheels, new interior trim and seat upholsteries.

The iDrive has been updated to include QuickSelect, running on the BMW Operating System 8.5.

Standard spec now includes 18in alloys, sports seats, two-zone auto air-con, LED headlights and parking assistant.

Included in the line-up are two four-cylinder petrols, with eight-speed Steptronic transmission and rear-wheel drive. There is also a six-cylinder M240i xDrive Coupe which, in its current guise, is one of the best driving cars around.

The new one gets its own version of the M-specific design elements. They include: high-gloss black inserts for the side air intakes, black spoiler lip on the front apron, model-specific rear spoiler and the trapezoidal tailpipes on the left and right of the rear apron.

Customer deliveries will begin in August.
