Parents really worry if their children are overweight and yet often feel powerless to address this issue. You may be terrified about saying the wrong thing and provoking your child into an eating disorder, or giving them some kind of hang-up about their body shape or weight.

The whole issue of weight can feel like a minefield. I frequently get asked about how best to talk to children about their weight or their eating habits.
