Meet the American who started farming in her 70s and now makes raw cheese, fudge and ice cream from goats she hand-milks on her 3ac Leitrim farm

Former nurse Lisa Gifford (82), who taught herself how to make goat’s cheese, fell in love with Ireland and moved here seven years ago. Now she has been joined by her daughter and daughter-in-law, and they have opened a cheese shop to sell their produce

Lisa Gifford was in her mid-70s when she decided to sell her house in Serbia and move to Ireland and buy a farm in 2016.
