A potato farmer who managed 30,000t of spuds for crisps per year has turned his back on his 30-year career after being inspired to tell a new food story through a loaf of bread.

It was while on a cookery course in the world-renowned Ballymaloe School when Chris Brownlow (59) had an ‘a-ha’ moment after tasting their sourdough bread and in that instant he fell in love with the magic of how such simple ingredients could solve complex physical and mental issues.
