Demand for loans to improve the environmental footprint of farms has increased in the first half of 2023

Dairy farmers' demand for land has driven increased demand for loans this year, according to Bank of Ireland.

Speaking to the Farming Independent, Eoin Lowry, Head of Agri Sector, Bank of Ireland, said the bank has seen a significant increase in demand for loans for land purchases mainly from dairy farmers this year.
