Hozier review: The rain did little to hinder the atmosphere as the skilled musician cycled through the hits

If the legion of Hozier (aka Andrew Byrne) fans are to be believed, there’s a lot of lore surrounding the musician. He’s an ethereal forest man written by a woman. He’s a kindhearted storyteller whose blood runs green.

My own folklore with the folk singer spans a decade. I was in the crowd - front row I believe - during his set at Longitude festival in 2014. I didn’t know if I should refer to Hozier as he (one man) or they (an entire band) but I did know that Take Me to Church was a hit for a reason.
