Magic Johnson celebrates Fourth of July on luxury yacht vacation in Ibiza with wife Cookie and close A-List pal Samuel L. Jackson

Basketball legend Magic Johnson celebrated his 4th of July on a luxury yacht in Ibiza alongside his wife, Cookie, and A-List friends Samuel L. Jackson and Cedric the Entertainer.

Johnson's good friend John Palmer was also on the trip. Jackson, Cedric, and Palmer were also joined by their respective partners to complete the eight-person trip.

Johnson shared photos of the trip on his Instagram late Thursday with the caption 'A great day celebrating the Fourth of July with our friends overseas!'

The three photos Johnson posted included a group shot of all eight people on the trip with the former Los Angeles Laker in the center with his arms on Cookie's shoulders.

Jackson is to Johnson's right, with Cedric to Magic's left.

Johnson also posted a video of the yacht's staff dancing in front of them and behind a table set for the eight in the middle of the ship.

A final photo of just Johnson and Cookie completed the post.

Johnson is not only one of the greatest players in NBA history, but has got into ownership since officially retiring for the final time in 1996.

The 12-time NBA All-Star has stake in four major professional teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles FC, the Los Angeles Sparks, and the Washington Commanders.

Earlier in the week, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel mocked Johnson and Cookie by photoshopping himself into photos of them on vacation.

It's unclear whether Kimmel knew that A-List guests such as Jackson were also on the trip.

Johnson is entering an important period of overseeing sports teams, with the Commanders firing Ron Rivera and bringing in Dan Quinn to coach the team, as well as the Dodgers trying to win another World Series with Shohei Ohtani on the roster.
