Hunter Biden trial jury speaks out: Anonymous member reveals what happened during deliberations and how they were initially SPLIT on whether he was guilty

Members of the jury who found Hunter Biden guilty of three federal firearms charges have revealed they were initially split over the verdict.

Juror 10 spoke to CNN anonymously, and described how only six wanted to find the president's son guilty when they took the first vote on Monday night.

The remaining half wanted to find him not guilty for lying about his crack cocaine addiction when he bought a Colt Cobra Revolver in 2018.

When the jury returned on Tuesday morning, the first vote was 11-1, with the majority wanting a guilty verdict after just three hours of deliberations.

The three jurors who spoke to the network said they had no choice but to make Hunter a convicted felon because of the evidence.

Following the verdict, President Joe Biden's public schedule quickly shifted with him now rushing from an event – ironically where he was speaking about gun safety – to Wilmington, Delaware to be with his son.

The jury believed prosecutors had argued their case beyond reasonable doubt, but Juror 10 said he doesn't think the president's 54-year-old son deserves jail time for the offenses.

'I can't… speak for everyone. But I can speak for myself and it – it was very sad,' he said.

'That he has been convicted of these crimes, and that his life has turned out the way it did.'

The male juror also revealed that he didn't know Beau Biden's widow Hallie also became addicted to crack cocaine when she was dating Hunter.

The anonymous juror added that he thought it was hard to watch Naomi testify about her father.

'President Biden never really came into play for me because his name was only brought up once during the trial, and that's when it kinda sunk in a little bit, like, oh, wow, this is the sitting president's son who's on trial,'he added.

'So, yeah, that was kind of hard, to know what the trial's about now. But you kind of put that out of your mind.'

The panel of 12 men and women were selected last Monday to hear the case of three felony charges brought against the adult son of the current U.S. president.

They took just three hours to find Hunter guilty of all three charges.

Now, Hunter faces up to 25 years in prison and $250,000 fine – though the typical sentence is much lower, especially for first-time offenders.

Biden is making remarks Tuesday afternoon at the Washington Hilton for Everytown's Gun Sense University where the White House said he is highlighting 'the progress to keep guns out of dangerous hands.'

Right after the speech, the president is going to be with his now felon son who stands convicted of lying about his drug use and addiction when purchasing a firearm in 2018.

The National Association for Gun Rights said Biden's hypocrisy is on display today and noted how liberal anti-gun policies have facilitated the environment and laws where his son is now a felon.

'Right now, the Biden family is getting a taste of their own anti-gun medicine,' the nonprofit wrote in a statement following the Tuesday ruling.
