Kayla Lewis joined the TV20 team as a reporter in September of 2023.
She grew up in the Orlando area and graduated from the University of Central Florida in May of 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism.
During her time at UCF, Kayla was involved in Hitting the Field, a student-run sports broadcasting network. Although she loves talking about sports, especially baseball, she solidified her love of telling people's stories and being a voice for the voiceless during her time at UCF and her reporter internship at WKMG, News 6 in Orlando.
Kayla is excited to learn more about Gainesville and all of the surrounding communities. When Kayla isn't out in the field, she likes to watch baseball, spend time with her family and friends, line dance, and bowl.
