Clint McLeod

Clint McLeod joined the TV20 team in June 2024.

A born and raised New Yorker, Clint spent the last three years reporting news in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan at WLUC-TV6. Clint served a variety of roles, including bureau reporter, anchor, and producer. After only six months on the job, he was named the 2021 "Reporter of the Year" by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

Clint also received awards for contributing to team coverage of "20 Years: Upper Michigan Remembers 9/11," and the in-depth breaking news coverage of the sextortion and death of Michigan teenager Jordan DeMay and the ground-breaking international sextortion trial.

Clint is passionate about canoeing, United States history, and ranch dressing. When in Michigan, Clint became a certified Firefighter, and has been serving his community in that role for three years. Clint is always willing to talk about his experience in the fire service, and he will proudly look to serve another fire department in Alachua County.

Clint has never lived in North Central Florida, but has friends and family in Tallahassee. When not reporting or anchoring the news, you can find Clint reading a book by the pool, enjoying a hike, or touring some of Gainesville's cuisine options.
