Bradley Benoit

Bradley Benoit comes to the TV20 weather team from the Bayou region of Louisiana where he grew up in Thibodaux, LA—trading in one swamp for another—He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe where he received a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology.

From the humid, hot summers to the rarest of snow days, Bradley quickly fell in love with what South Louisiana weather had to offer. He would spend the summers tracking afternoon thunderstorms and always had his eyes on the tropics for the potential of hurricane development. He first-hand witnessed hurricanes such as Katrina, Rita, Gustav and Isaac. It was during these trying times that his appreciation and love for weather grew stronger. In fact, one of the main reasons he got into meteorology was that he always wanted to keep people informed and safe during such events. As a professional, he has covered major hurricanes such as Laura, Delta, and Ida.

Bradley is extremely excited and looking forward to the opportunity to provide accurate forecasts for north-central Florida. Outside of weather, you can find Bradley in the gym, watching sports, or playing some golf.
