Shooting victim dropped off at Shands Hospital will not press charges

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies say the girl taken to the hospital Monday with a gun shot wound is in stable condition and will not press charges.
Deputies have identified everyone involved in the incident, all of whom are teenagers.
The victim is denying any crime occurred, saying the gunshot was an accident. However, the teenagers claim they were not playing with the gun. It is currently unknown how she was shot.
The girl was dropped off at Shands Kanapaha Emergency Room before she was taken to Shands on Monday after being shot.
