Authorities say a pedestrian was killed in a two-vehicle wreck in Colbert County Thursday morning.
It happened about 10 a.m. on Alabama 184 near Shaw Road, about five miles east of Muscle Shoals. State troopers say 34-year-old Timothy D. Wood, Jr. was killed after getting struck by a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. Troopers say the Silverado hit a trailer attached to the parked 2013 Chevrolet Suburban Wood had initially been driving.
Authorities say Wood was pronounced dead at the scene.
State troopers say the wreck is under investigation.
