One person was arrested after injuring another in a stabbing in Gurley.
The Gurley Police Department says officers, along with the Gurley Fire Department, Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, and Madison County Sheriff’s deputies, responded to the address of 373 Section Line Road Saturday evening for a domestic disturbance.
When they arrived, the officers came in contact with a man who had been stabbed.
Police say he was transported by HEMSI to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury to receive treatment for a single stab wound. He was released shortly after.
The offender was arrested, police say. However, the department says it is not releasing names at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
