State troopers say a Huntsville teen was killed in a multiple-vehicle wreck in Jackson County Sunday morning.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. on U.S. 72 near mile marker 119, three miles west of Woodville.

According to authorities, the 17-year-old driver was killed when the 2015 Nissan Altima they were in struck a 1988 Chevrolet C2500 and then struck a trailer.

Troopers say the teen wasn't wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.
