Huntsville City FC Earns 1-1 Draw Against Crown Legacy F

Huntsville, Ala. (April 13, 2024) – Huntsville City Football Club earned a 1-1 draw against Crown Legacy FC at Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium in Interim Head Coach Christophe Berra’s managerial debut with the club.

Crown Legacy went down to 10 men in the 36th minute after Cameron Duke received his second yellow card in the span of two minutes. The Boys in Blue found their breakthrough in the 69th minute when Brennan Creek headed home Ollie Wright’s cross to give Huntsville the lead.

Crown Legacy equalized in the 79th minute through an Aron John header. The match finished level at one, and in the penalty shootout the visitors earned the extra point with a 5-4 shootout win.

The Boys in Blue will be back in action next Saturday, April 20 at 7 p.m. CT against Chattanooga FC at “The Joe”.
