Free prostate cancer screenings offered at Madison County Health Department

The Urology Health Foundation is offering free prostate cancer screenings at the Madison County Health Department on Tuesday. The screenings are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to the Urology Health Foundation, prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men. The foundation says early detection is the key.

Health officials urge men over 40 years old to come to the health department for the screenings. The screenings are free. No appointments are needed.

The Madison County Health Department is located at 301 Max Luther Drive in Huntsville.
