A Crossville man was arrested in Fort Payne for firing a gun into an occupied house.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to County Road 386 on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
Their investigations unit and drug task force conducted a search warrant of the residence after one of the victims fled the scene.
During that search, deputies found a "sizeable amount" of methamphetamine, a handgun, and nine shell casings.
The investigations unit says they later identified Jose Guadalupe Perez as the shooter.
