Morgan County Sheriff's Office: Arrests coming after discovery of large amount of meth, pot

The discovery of a large amount of drugs in Morgan County soon will lead to arrests.

That’s what the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office says is next after its Drug Enforcement Unit searched a home on Barkley Bridge Road on Friday.

The office said agents recovered “nearly four pounds of a crystalline substance that field-tested positive as methamphetamine along with a large quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.”

According to the sheriff’s office, the unit “identified several suspects and co-conspirators in the drug trafficking organization. The investigation continues with arrests pending.”
