CENTRAL MADISON...NORTHEASTERN CULLMAN AND SOUTHEASTERN MORGAN
COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM CDT...

At 1214 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Holly Pond, or 10 miles west of Arab, moving northeast
at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Huntsville, Guntersville, Arab, Owens Cross Roads, Morgan
City, Baileyton, Eva, Union Grove, Hulaco, and Eddy.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Cullman County woman killed in Morgan County crash

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has released the identity of the woman killed in a Morgan County crash late Monday afternoon.

Brenda R. Reed, 78, of Baileyton was critically injured in a multi-vehicle crash when the 1999 GMC Sonoma she was driving hit another vehicle, troopers said. The Sonoma overturned and left the road.

Reed was taken to Marshall Medical North Hospital by helicopter, where she later died from her injuries.

The crash happened about 5:39 p.m. Monday on Alabama 67 near Hulaco Road in Morgan County, about five miles west of Arab.

The incident remains under investigation.
