Why should you care that this year is a Cicada emerging year? Because millions...yes, plural, millions, of them will be present in the Tennessee Valley this season. And the raid has already started.
We likely won't hear much from our musical new neighbors over the course of then next several days due to the severe weather, cloud cover, and storm chances headed out way. However, by Friday and though this weekend, when conditions are pleasant, calm, sunny, and dry....we're likely to hear their songs around every turn.
