One person is dead and another has been arrested following a shooting in Albertville.
According to the Albertville Police Department, Colton Dozier was charged with manslaughter.
On Saturday, officers were dispatched to a residence on Oneonta Cut-Off Road due to a gunshot victim.
When they arrived, police say they met Dozier and, after a brief conversation, took him into custody.
Soon after, officers found Daniel Long suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.
Police say two females and children were also found at the residence.
Long was transported to Marshall Medical Center South, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Dozier was transported to the Albertville City Jail and was then booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
