When I was in elementary, middle, and high school the only scientists I saw that looked like me were meteorologists. As I earned my education, I saw how STEM careers are vast and each one is more impressive than the last. The same can be said about the women who hold those jobs.

Each Monday on WAAY, I'm highlighting a high-achieving woman in STEM from North Alabama with the hope that the next generation will identify with their interests, realize they have a passion in a similar job market, and be inspired to join the STEM-force themselves.
