There’s an opportunity to help children across North Alabama have a merry Christmas!

WAAY 31 is partnering with Kids to Love and the Huntsville-Madison Builders Association for the annual Christmas for the Kids program. This year's program kicked off on Nov. 6, so you can now pick up an ornament with a child's holiday wish from multiple locations.

The goal is to grant the wishes of 2,000 foster children this holiday season.

How it works

Kids to Love has trees with ornaments at locations all throughout North Alabama.

To participate, Kids to Love says you just need to pick up an ornament, buy the item listed on the ornament, and return the gift with the ornament to the location you picked it up from. Gifts must be dropped off by Dec. 4.

Here is Kids to Love's list of locations where you can find their ornaments:

  • Participating Jack’s restaurants
  • Participating Regions Bank branches
  • Alabama Pediatric Dental Associates branches
  • The Kids to Love Center, at 140 Castle Drive in Madison
  • Kids to Love's Bridge Street mobile gift wrap center (Open Nov. 17-Dec. 24) in the parking lot across from Dick’s Sporting Goods
    • Open 1-5 p.m. Sundays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursdays, and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays
  • Barnes & Noble, Old Navy and Belk at Bridge Street Town Centre
  • The Huntsville Madison County Home Builders Association
  • Haley's Flooring and Interiors on Bob Wallace
