The area

Neighborhood: Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

    Love love love the Aerobus!
I am the world's biggest fan of the Aerobus. It offers incredibly convenient service to the airport for a great price. The frequency of the buses is astounding. We lived on Sepulveda this summer, and used it for all our airport trips. Fast, comfortable, reliable, air conditioned. As long as the stops are convenient for you, there is no better way to get to/from the airport.

It's great, but be prepared for details.
It's great, but be prepared for details. As others noted , if you arrive at T2 it's a bit of a hike to the bus and it is not signposted inside the building. Outside you'll see huge signs, and eventually you'll realize that the one the Aerobus is at is WAY down there. The bus is fine. We got off at Espanya, but you'll probably have similar results at the other stops. Each place is a HUGE circle, and if you're connecting to the Metro, only ONE point on the circle has a lift. Without that, you're schlepping suitcases down stairs, along a LOT of corridors, up stairs, down stairs .... Returning to the airport we just took a cab to Espanya. You're saving so much by taking the bus that it's money well spent.

An easy way to get to the City Centre
An easy way to get to the centre of Barcelona. A regular service which can get crowded. Bus stop near Terminal 2. Best and cheaper to buy a return ticket which you can get on line before you travel or before you board the bus itself upon arrival

Its really a great experience to have. i took aerobus from terminal 1. i booked the ticket from the vending machine which was an easy. the bus took me from airport to plaza catalunya in around 30 mins. the seat is good with a free wifi access. my only concern that there is a lot of passengers was standing as there is no free space to seat.

    Easy and convenient Aerobus
Once you get your luggage from the carousel, you head out to the exit. Follow the signs and you will end up on level 0 to catch the bus. You can easily buy your tickets there (cheaper by a couple of euros) or buy online. Also on level 0, you will find the metro.

Efficient way of transporting from the airport
Its an efficient and cost effective way of transporting from the airport to the city. The cost was 6.75 € pp and they run every 10 minutes. A taxi covering the same trip could cost 35-40€. The stop is outside the airport and we were travelling to our hotel near Placa Catalunya which was around a 5 minute walk to our hotel. It was a comfortable ride.

    A Cultural Feast
Being an Art lover, Barcelona was always going to be a treat, with its many museums and galleries, particularly leaning towards the contemporary. After much thought, we decide to purchase Barcelona Cards, which gave us free transport on the Metro, Busses and local trains. (with certain exclusions such as the Aerobus) as well as free admission to many of the museums. We picked up our cards in the airport terminal and travelled to our hotel on La Rambla by the Metro which has stations at the airport. Our hotel on La Rambla was well equipped, but just a warning; The metro run the length of La Rambla underneath the road. As a train passes, the road vibrates, as do the hotels. Be wary if you are a light sleeper though they finish about midnight to start again about 4.50am. More of a concern was the liveliness of La Rambla itself, with noise coming from the street throughout the night. Our room faced the street and this did cause some problems. On the whole, Barcelona is an amazing city with plenty for all. take time to look at what your preferences are because you will not be able to do everything.

    Airport transfer on the cheap
Great service. Easy to find at the airport. No rush to get on as the buses are so regular. Excellent position of last stop in Placa Catalunya. Be careful if you buy a ticket for a few days unlimited travel on city buses and metro. Although it says clearly on the machine that the airport bus is included, this is not correct.

Great link between the airport and Barcelona City Center
The Aerobus is an incredibly convenient and inexpensive way to get to the center of Barcelona and from there back to the airport. The service is well marked at the airport, operates 24/7 and leaves every 5 minutes. The buses have wifi and even USB ports at the seats. Stops are announced in advance. Separate buses service T1 and T2 so you don't lose time driving between terminals at the airport; just be sure to know where your flight is leaving from before you board a bus.

    Good option for travel
Great service to and from airport. Where you’re staying does make a difference to how far your onward journey is at the last bus stop so check the map! Good value and friendly drivers. Will definitely use again. Reliable regular service too .

Highly recommend this bus service. Excellent way to go from Barcelona Airport to the city. Great price. Tickets purchased in the bus queue. Very efficient service. Buses depart frequently. Central bus stop very close to our hotel.

Very bad, I was planning to use my tickets for a quick ride into the city during my 3h transit, and based on what customer service said (plenty of buses, a bus every 10 minutes, 30mn ride), it seemed quite feasible.
Except this info was all wrong (first bus showed up after 35 mn wait and could only accommodate a small part of the huge queue which had formed outside. As a result I could not use my ticket paid 18€50, due to the misleading information provided to me. When I complained the company just dismissed the whole story saying the tickets were valid.

Three cheers plus for Barcelona for providing one of the best transport services to and from the airport of any major city in the world! The Aerobus is super convenient, with it's downtown terminus at Placa de Catalunya (with a couple of other stops along the way). There are separate buses for Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, both loading and unloading at the east side of the plaza. Passengers can buy tickets in advance online or from machines, from staff nearby, or from the driver, and can pay with credit card. The buses have lots of space for luggage. The trip to or from the airport takes less than 30 minutes and there are buses running every 10 minutes or less. The fare is 7.25 euros. If traveling from the airport, you may need to ask staff where to get the Aerobus, but it is easy to locate and everyone knows about it.T

Helpfull drivers. Clean and comfortable seating. Plenty of luggage storage. The app takes a bit of time to open eTickets. Had a problem with phone data connection on return journey at Calunya but driver just waved me on regardless. All airports should provide this type of service, esdpecially for tourists.

Excellent service from Barcelona Airport to the city centre. I bought tickets online in advance in a very simple transaction. Tickers are accessed through an app. There are also ticket machines if you need to buy at the airport but beware of queues. We exited the terminal, easily found the bus stop directly outside: with buses coming every 5-10 minutes there's no delay. Journey to the centre took about 25 minutes. Fast, comfortable and cheap - also far easier than the metro.

My wife & i have been using this service from & to the airport for the past few years. If you book the return tickets you also get a discount.
Buses are clean, well maintained, have room for luggage of all sizes. There is A/C as well as wifi aboard and usb ports in front of all seats. Recommended.
