I had the most incredible time at the Harlem jazz club. The music, the atmosphere, everything was simply amazing. We happened to visit during an open mic session, and let me tell you, the performers were absolutely outstanding. They exceeded all my expectations. I can't recommend this place enough. It's a hidden gem that may be a little out-of-the-way, but once you find it, you'll realize it's actually very close to the Rumbla and easy to access. The vibrant energy of the place is infectious, and it was packed to the brim with enthusiastic jazz lovers. If you're looking for a memorable and vibrant experience, this is the place to be. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Had a fun evening at this small, boutique venue. The atmosphere was friendly and whilst the act we saw was ok, it shouldn’t put you off spending an evening drinking, dancing and people watching.

I was a featured Singer at the Harlem Jazz Club on the 16th of December with Chino and his Swingslide Band. These guys were fabulous. Chino's a music genius on guitar. From the time you enter there's all good vibrations; Staff, Audience, and Owner, Daniel Negro. The Audience is so attentive and appreciative. If you're coming to Barcelona you couldn't perform at a better more intimate venue.

A friendly welcoming vibe with the owner 'mum' presiding and with top prof performances of accessible jazz and blues. Carlos Swingslide is a highly accomplished musician who exudes warmth and personality on and off stage, bringing his band out into the audience for the finale. It feels like a night together with friends who you have never met before

The bartender made strong drinks, the crowd was energetic and the jazz was great. There is little else a person could ask for from a club.

This was our first visit to Harlem Jazz and we were blown away! The music was top class and as it was Jam night the mix of talent in the crowd made you really feel like you were involved with something very special. The main guy of the band (sorry I didn’t get his name) was not only amazing musically but was really funny and got everyone laughing when the time was right.
We have been to lots of gigs and live music venues this year to make up for a lack of this sort of thing because of Covid. This was by far the best!
Everyone in the venue was really friendly and respectful of your space, the acceptance and mix of all walks of life was beautiful to see and really restored your faith in humanity. If it’s ok to say the lady running the bar was also the most beautiful woman I’ve probably ever seen.
Top night, if you are even thinking about going, just book, you will not be disappointed!

Sensational evening of great jazz and blues, lots of improv from Chino Swingslide and the band, some guest appearances that were thrilling and wonderful to watch and hear. Get there 45 minutes early for a decent seat, and be prepared for a late finish. Drinks were sensible prices, staff were friendly, atmosphere built from quiet respect and educated listening in the first half to full-on audience participation at the end. Our highlight of 5 days in Barcelona, but don’t tell anyone…..

Small but warm venue where staff and clients, mostly locals, are fun and friendly, and the music is infectious! Had a great time there on New Year's Eve, even though the band had to stop playing at 1am as there was a curfew due to the pandemia...

We usually eat at Le Gran Cafe about a 3 minute walk away on Avinyo. Very pretty and elegant, with very good food and usually live piano music. If you use the El Tenedor discount when you reserve with them, the prices are even more reasonable.

Spain is pretty special when it comes to children ... but as a bar and evening jazz club it appeared to be adults 25+ if your teenager enjoys jazz they would appreciate but I dare say it would come down to how busy and if you want them to be immersed in a smokey atmosphere...

I went there with my 17-year old daughter. No one asked ID or questions, neither at entrance nor serving alcholoic beverages. Even if there was a ny problem, as far as I know, EU laws allow juveniles in such venues if accompanied by a parent. Have fun!
