Nice Relaxing little getaway that's near Brasilia, about 50mins from Asa Norte. There are two sides to this place, one that is called Poço Azul and on the other side they just call it The Cachoeiras or Waterfalls. When you enter in if you take the trail to the right it goes to the waterfalls a 1km walk and the trail to the left goes to Poço Azul a 2km walk. Both spot are nice to take in. Poço Azul seems to attract more people than the waterfall side in part because you have one large pool for swimming and diving. The final walk down to get to Poço Azul is steep and rocky so be careful and if it rains it can get quite slippery since the rocks are smooth.
Great waterfall, very easy access, no facilities included. I suggest to get there really early in the morning, at 7 a.m. if you can. After some time, close to 9 a.m. the water will be the bluest. The waterfall and the pool have rocks close by that you can leave your stuff on. I recommend bringing a towel because the water is really cold and you might want to get yourself wrapped up as soon as you leave the water.
