For 5 reais you can enjoy the tranquil gardens and scenery of this beautiful place. Plenty to see and do .my only grumble was as a English speaking person there was not enough information in English that i could read about the artifacts as it was mainly in Portuguese

I think it's actually free to get in - but we drove in and it cost just R$5 each which is about $1.25! Anyway, there are some nice cafe's and information centres and great for picnics. The Botanical Gardens are centered in the middle of a much bigger savannah with lots of hiking possible. We just did 3 miles but you could probably walk 15-20 if you wanted! Lovely Japanese Garden and a particularly good Orchid House.

The Botanic Garden is huge. A nice place to have picnic during the weekend. It provides an opportunity to know more about the vegetation of "cerrado". There are also temporal artistic exhibitions in one of its buildings.

Not sure what to rate as I didnt go in. Got an Uber to the gates and found out the circuit of the gardens is 5km and the first area is near 3km away! As it was well over 30deg I gave it a miss.

It appears it is designed for people to drive to locations inside the gardens and then view- not walk the lot.

Nice Sunday afternoon stroll in the easy to reach Jardim Botânico in Brasilia. Educational tours, trails, a Japanese style garden, bilingual information/explanation signs. Quiet atmosphere. Nice restaurant in the park for coffee and lunch; pick nick facilities. Entry fee R$ 5 per person.
