Hi, Meal service is from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and dinner service is from 8:00 p.m. to midnight.
To offer a good service to customers who want to try our cuisine with dishes from different parts of the world, a service of 1 maître 4 waiters and 3 cooks is necessary.
The investment in a restaurant is much higher than that made in a bar, as are all the management costs.
We work with fresh produce and 100% of our menu is made by us, which requires a high turnover.
When you come at 1:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m., it is normal to see the establishment empty, since we have just started the service. On past occasions when we have allowed to sit down to have a "quick beer" we have encountered problems because they did not want to leave the table to customers who had reservations or simply wanted to enjoy our restaurant services.
When there are free tables, you tend to think that if we have an empty table in the restaurant, a customer with a drink is better than not having any customers, but this is not the reality given the high costs explained above, that is the time that waiters and cooks have to invest in preparation or cleaning and maintenance of the premises.
We, as well as other restaurants that comply with our tax obligations, hospitality agreement with our workers and state regulations, cannot offer a bar service having all the preparation with a restaurant service.
