Lovely

Review of Stemma Hotel
Reviewed 3 weeks ago
Had a lovely 10 day stay at the Stemma. Room was huge 105 with a balcony that had the sun in the afternoon until about 9ish. Very hot. Pool area was huge and plenty of beds around. The breakfast was lovely it had everything from English (bacon every 3 days) sausage, beans, eggs. Toaster and also greek breakfast. The orang juice was nice, not watered down like some. The staff are lovely and friendly too. We ate at the hotel a few times, food was very good and portions are huge!. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go again. The reason for my 4 rating is for us the shower. Water was hot but the bath was really narrow and was hard to turn around because you would bang your legs on the taps which are in the middle of the bath to which the shower is attached. This is a very quiet hotel in the evenings with no loud music or entertainment. Most people went out at night but if you want a quiet drink at the bar chatting to other quests that's fine. Its so peaceful at night so sleeping wasn't a problem. We met some friends from home who have been to Sidari many times and they visited our hotel and said it was one of the better ones on resort. Oh forgot to say prices are good too. We will be back Stemma

We are still at the hotel as I type. We have had a lovely stay. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the town centre and it’s a calm quiet location with sone great views.

It’s family run and have owned it since 1992. The staff are lovely, they make a point of saying hello and trying to remember your name.

The pool is clean and there was no shortage of sun bed options.

The food prices are no more expensive than anywhere else and their pizzas were lovely.

Breakfast choices are limited but perfectly fine , the fact that there isn’t a massive spread is quite refreshing. The bacon is nice.

We are in a self catering room for 3 persons. The third bed is a cabin bed which is too small if you are over 6’2.

The rooms are cleaned every day.

It’s easy to find faults in the rooms. Our toilet had no loo roll holder but frankly it didn’t bother us. I am sure the staff would have sorted it if we mentioned it.

It’s has free Wi-Fi and you’ll be given the code.

Beware of Incurring international roaming charges owing to the proximity to Albania.

So I want to repeat what I have said about the staff. Genuinely friendly and helpful.

I would love to come back again sometime in the future

Oh… and they have two peacocks wandering about!

Room tip: Speak to your mobile phone provider before you arrive to avoid costly roaming charges. Rental cars are cheap but the roads aren’t great.

Of all the Greek Islands we have been to I can sa this the best Greek hotel we have stayed in. Very good pool and area very quiet and great atmosphere. Monica and her family who run it are great the husband and and there father very pleasant. We only ate there a few times but it was very nice. The only thing on the downside was only single beds could have been better with a double topper mattress and made it perfect. This is from the guy who always took his coffee cups back and said I don't do washing up Haha.

This hotel is excellent and is the friendliest hotel we have ever been to. Paula is an absolute star, the barman (sorry can’t remember his name) was also really nice and so was the owner who even bought us a drink. The pool was lovely and warm , sun beds are aplenty and the umbrellas are great as they tilt. The rooms are basic but really big and have everything you need.
Breakfast changed each day and although there wasn’t masses of choice we could always find plenty to eat. Bar prices and snacks were reasonable and tasty.
The hotel is a 5 min walk to the beach and the strip which we loved with lots of bars, restaurants etc. Lots of the bars had music and lots of tribute singers every night. It was a relaxing holiday we used the buses to get around and we would definitely go back to this hotel. If you’re thinking of booking go ahead it’s an absolute gem and the staff really make it.

Room tip: The taxis prices are a little steep from the airport. Take mosquito repellent. If you like a lively strip this is the place.
