This was our 2nd time to Salt Cay and again not disappointed. Debbie is hands on while giving you your privacy and will do everything she can to accommodate things you may need. The lodging is perfect for short or long stays. Very clean, right on the ocean with beautiful sunsets outside your door. Perfect sundeck on the water to enjoy the breeze and the sunsets with a cocktail. Conveniently located a short walk to the few restaurants on the island and Debbie will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. We rode the bikes they provided all over the island alongside the roaming donkeys. Willy the caretaker is also very sweet and will help you if you need anything. They will arrange to have groceries or drinks or whatever you need waiting for you when you arrive if they can. I can’t say enough about how friendly everyone we met there was. It’s a truly untouched gem and we cannot wait to go back.

Debbie the owner of Tradewinds was beyond helpful before and during our trip to Salt Caye. We were coming only to swim with the humpback whales that pass through the area. Due to weather we rescheduled our trip and Debbie was extremely accommodating helping us arrange flights and still providing us a place to stay. She seems to know everyone in the Turks and Caicos and was beyond helpful in making our trip perfect! The tradewinds is right on the beach and has chaise lounges chairs and a table to sit at to enjoy sunrise and sunset. We cooked dinner ourselves and enjoyed it ocean front right outside our room with the waves lapping just beneath us. When looking for accommodation look no further you have arrived. If she doesn’t have room at tradewinds I have no doubt she can help find you somewhere to stay.

The Tradewinds was the perfect place to stay while on Salt Cay. It is dead center to restruants and diving so at most a half block away. Debbie, the owner, made sure we had everything we needed by staying in touch before we arrived and being available during our 8 day stay. The bedroom had airconditioning and there are fans in all the rooms. Stove and refrigator, coffee, and spices were all there for our use. There is a raised lounge area five feet from the beach with lounge chairs which was perfect for watching the sunset and the green flash as the sun went down. Thanks again Debbie
