Went here for a family beach weekend, and we planned to stay at this resort since we've read some nice reviews. Plus points about this resort is the proximity to everything everyone goes for when in San Juan-- the beach, the bars and the restaurants along the highway. We also got a room with an awesome view of the beach which was a few steps away. But the positives end there.
For a 4-star resort (as seen in Google map) it is lacking in a number of things. I find it too pricey, especially when breakfast is not included in the daily rate. Housekeeping is almost non-existent here, which is made more difficult because there is no intercon to contact the front desk. They just give you a card with mobile numbers to call when you need something, and you're lucky if someone actually picks up the call; otherwise you have to go down to front desk yourself for whatever request you have. Front desk closes shop at 8pm. Food served in their resto is the usual (as in so-so), if not a little overpriced. One isn't allowed to bring in food (chips and snacks are okay, though) and alcohol from outside. Wifi is very spotty at times.
While the resort is average with its service, it's really scenic, hence a lot of people milling around with their phone cams and all. Great for pictorials (anything for the 'gram, as they say), but one can move on to another place on the next visit to San Juan.
