The price snd location are exceptional, as was the staff experience at the front desk. The place is old and the rooms are no frills, but was comfortable and clean. The pool was a bonus. I'd stay again.

This hotel has NO RESORT FEES which is a huge plus. The location is perfect and the rooms are clean and comfortable and very affordable . It’s not trendy retro . Not yet anyways. I prefer it to stay the way it is.

I have stayed on previous occasions. I e never had any issues. Still great bang for the buck and you can’t beat the location. Rooms are starting to show their age but I’m not a picky person when it comes to that stuff. Cheers.

Our first time in Waikiki. Price and location was good for the area. Staff varied. Some pleasant and some not so. Newly refurbished Pool and Reception area. Rooms a bit shabby which didn't worry us. It would be good if they had block out curtains though. Overall clean and safe which is the main thing

Good location to all attractions had to battle ROACHES every evening so we ate out the hole time couldn't bring food to the room to prepare was afraid the roach gearms was on the dishes and other things hope they did not come back home with us we stay out of the room except to sleep and change clothes

Don’t book. The place is worse than your average Backpacking establishment. Broken doors,mould in rooms, filthy, rubbish laying around, pool ‘under maintenance’ , noisy, note in room saying don’t keep anything valuable in room - I wonder why, probably because the place isn’t safe. Uneducated staff that have difficulty speaking and understanding English. No room service unless asked for, but don’t expect it to happen even then.
If your under 25 and don’t see safety and cleanliness as a expectation, then stay but the Backpackers will offer more.
Grossly over priced. Can’t say anything really positive other than demolish the place.
Room tip: Avoid this place. Don’t be tempted,location is not everything!!! Like to know how it gets four stars.
