Stayed 6 nights solo, great staff and the room was great size, big TV and it was super clean when I arrived. Staff were always extremely friendly. A block away from the beachfront and all requirements were a 5 min walk away. They offer car parking (fee) which was very handy. Would very much stay again.

We extended our trip and decided to stay on the other side of the strip, closer to Waikiki beach. After looking through all our options, we decided to go with Hotel Renew, it looked cozy, cute, and pink, what's not to love. Not only were the prices the best, the employees made our experience 10x better. Lance, the door greeter invited us in with such a welcoming smile and we always looked forward to running into him. We had come early hoping to drop our bags off, when we were invited for an early check in! The room was perfect for our group, not to mention the body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner set was amazing! We even took some of them home with us! On our check out date, we had a late night flight, the hotel was kind enough to let us leave our luggage with them while we went out for our last day in Waikiki. Upon returning from the beach, we were met with Lance the front desk who was so kind as to let us comfortably get ready for our flight in a room!! We headed to dinner and he even watched over our bags! Both Lance's were so great! Hotel Renew truly made our extended stay, late night flight, and the rest of our trip totally stress-free. Highly recommend for a homey stay in Waikiki!

The carpet smelled. The room was stuffy and odorous. The shower was dirty. I informed the front desk . The front desk staff said he will send someone to clean it but nothing was done. Disappointing. You can spend a little bit more and stay at the Hilton because the saving was minimal.

Just a block from the beach this was a great location at a fair price (though be prepared for a $25 resort fees and $49 parking PER NIGHT). The employees were all wonderful and helpful. There are complimentary chairs, towels, scuba gear and mats offered that we used every day. Plus there is a plethora of food trucks walking distance if you tire of the local restaurants.
