Our recent stay at the Surfjack Hotel was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the beginning to end. Hoku and Hailey were great and even said my two dogs were so cute! Thank you ladies! The room was nothing less than beautiful. We got the penthouse and the view was fantastic. We saw a bit of everything! Mad respect to Whitney who was the one to check us out the next morning. Also, Shepherd was cool too. Thanks for the great stay! 10/10 would stay again, and again, and again, and again.

Pros and Cons for this boutique hotel.
I probably would not stay again only because the cons were big for me. Others may not have an issue.

Free parking in Honolulu- enough said :)

Cons—
Hallways are NOISY!! It is so loud at times, sounds like people are standing / yelling at the foot of your bed.

No full length mirror in the room. Hard to judge overall look.

Bar closes early, last call is 10:00pm. Also received terrible service from a grumpy bartender. Underwhelming service for food, we ended leaving the hotel and walked to a restaurant.

We used housekeeping once in a weeks stay, she changed the sheets but at the foot of the bed, the bottom sheet did not cover the mattress. My ankles/feet were on bare mattress. I ended up remaking it. It was obvious , why continue to make the bed?

Entertainment is shut down early nightly . I think 8:00 pm.

During the day the pool /deck area is mostly little kids.

Location handy to everything, without being in the crazy busy area of Waikiki. Daily room servicing. Pool was cool, evening live music always good listening. Restaurant food was tasty. Many restaurants nearby too. Staff very friendly and helpful.
