They say happiness = (reality - expectations). Well this is a prime example of that equation. First of all the use of the word "resort" for people who actually go to resorts assumes a certain level of [fill in the blank]. This is NOT that. This place is lovely, the views are lovely, it's clean. But it is not a resort. This place is on the side of the road. It's not down a private windy drive where you arrive to a RESORT.

The photographer should get a commission of every sale, because that person did such an incredible job that you would believe it is a resort by looking at the photos. But if it were a resort, then they would have robes in the rooms for you to go to the pool in, and they would have an espresso machine in the lobby.

If it weren't for the misleading "resort" and amazing photographs I would give this place a 4. The rooms are run down but they are very clean. The air conditioning in our room did not work, so we slept with the sliding door open but there was no screen?!?! How do you have a sliding door and no screen?

It would seem that during the shoulder season they could upgrade the rooms, provide robes and maybe a few other things you would expect from a resort.

This hotel is extremely outdated and it does not resemble the pictures on the website. The carpets are very dirty and the bathroom and furnishing are very outdated. The shower handle actually came off in my hand while I was showering. I gave the shower handle to the front desk clerk when I checked out and asked to speak to the manager, but they were not there. The shower fan rumbled like a loud vacuum cleaner. The best thing about this hotel was the view from the room and that is it. Not worth the price and I do not recommend staying here.

It was a joy to come into the lobby after a two-hour drive and get information from Jenny and Sarah. They were so friendly and helpful. It was our first visit, so we were thrilled to have recommendations. We stayed in a one-bedroom cabin, which was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely gorgeous!!! We loved the hot tub after a long day at the parks. Thank you, Sarah and Jenny, for making our stay perfect.
