The worst thing about our stay was the air conditioner that didn't cool the room to a comfortable temperature. It never cooled to even 80 degrees, despite being on high cool and the coolest setting. The pool was closed due to a broken pump part. You could see light coming in from around the front door. When we arrived the back door was unlocked which opened out to the back parking lot. The carpet was dirty. No hair dryer. Shower only, no bath tub. Check in took a long time due to only one employee working at the desk. She had to answer the phone, take reservations from callers, check people in, help guests who needed items. She was very patient but needed some help. Breakfast is minimal: instant oatmeal packets, yogurt type food, bananas, toast. I will not stay here again. I apologized to my family who stayed with me due to the lack of a cool room to sleep in. I wasn't expecting it to be as nice as a Marriott, but neither was I expecting the level of deterioration that we experienced.. Last year I stayed at the Budget Inn & Suites in St. George and found it to be much better than the Inn at St. George. Thankfully we were only staying one night.
