This is a good example of how carefully chosen photos can make any place look decent. This an old motel that has seen some recent renovations, but it is still old and nothing more than a cheap budget motel -- perhaps on par with Motel 6. Cheap, uncomfortable bed. Noisy, menopausal HVAC unit.

The claim of recently renovated is a little outdated. Renovation may have occurred 10+ years ago. Positive things about this place are that it’s located in the historic part of town.

It gets a very generous 2 stars from my family. Check in time is after 5pm and most of our group had to wait till 6:30 -700pm. The pool is in heated, 45 degrees, with no hot tub. The rooms were filthy, see pictures. We even got a couple “complimentary” pair of underwear left from a previous guest(s) in the bathroom. Lighting was out all over the room. Just all around undesirable.

I don’t see us staying here again. We paid around $100 per night. It should be in the $40 per night range.

If you do stay here, there is a restaurant named George’s next door. It has great food.

My brother and I spent one night here in January. Great front desk, easy parking, good location, clean room, new firm mattresses. Breakfast was good with make-you-own waffles, yogurt, fruit. They are remodeling their front lobby to have breakfast seating, so we simply took our plates back to our room to eat. No problem. It's great they are updating this Inn as time and money allow.

Stayed here a night and I 100% regret it. Wouldn't stay here again because of the whole experience. This place gave me an unclean room that was gross and filled with trash. Staff failed to handled the experience badly and refused to believe me. After 3 hours they finally sent a maid and refused to give me a refund.

Hotel claimed it was under new ownership and remodeled, ya right. to start the beds felt like you were sleeping on the underside of a box spring. The shower had mold no bath tub. Contienetal breakfast was toast ceral and waffles that stick to the burner. Cramped in the lobby and the dining area had only few tables. The only ice machine was located out in front of the pool and the over flow tray was rusty and not maintend. The sheets were never changed. Fresh towels but dont think the bathroom was ever cleaned. I called the front desk and it went to voice mail as if you were calling to the main switch board, nobody returned call. We were very disapointed. Then in shower it ran hot and cold alternating. I am giving it a full dot only because the ac worked when it did. I will not stay there again and I will be sure to let my friends know drive by dont stop.Very dated no ugrades or remodeling done.

If you asked me a couple months ago I would of only had 5 stars for this hotel even 6 if possible but that has dramatically changed. 5 star to 1 star this hotel really dropped the ball I have spent thousands here I stay in St George every week this place used to be great then they changed staff and hired the worst example of customer service you can find. I had the next 2 weeks booked I just canceled all of it and will be talking to the property manager. The problem was we needed just an extra half hour after checkout they literally tried to kick us out at 11am on the dot, I have stayed in hotels all my life all over the world and have never had an experience like this. They are a very small property and dirty the only reason we booked was because of the nice staff and proximity to where we had to go on our weekly St George trips. I will now figure out a way to not use them at all costs. Stay away beware of this horrible property. I get that they were supposedly fully booked but after I had to basically beg the horrible front desk person then said sure no problem so obviously it was possible the entire time. LOL I actually spent more time on the phone asking them than the time we actually even needed after checkout.

We booked at The Inn through hotel.com. The picture above looks nothing like this run down hotel. This place was very old! We though oh well, we’ll make do for one night! Wrong.... the walls are so thin and I think people live there! There was a baby next door that was cry ( I get that babies cry) the mother was yelling at it! Then they were kicking the wall, we called down to the front desk and asked to change rooms. The person on the other end said “we are full (we could see empty rooms) or the rooms haven’t been cleaned” it was 8pm..... I called hotel.com, they contacted the hotel that refused to refund our money so we could find another suitable hotel. Hotel.com however, did refund our money then helped us find another hotel!

never, ever stay here. The room was dirty and old, the shower was disgusting(see photos). Stuff tossed us around with wrong informations, 3 of them all told us they will let the manager take care of us, and she NEVER called, or those stuff didn't tell her. The male receptionist was very rude too. just not fair. not fair.

I had stayed at this place thinking it would be a good hotel with my family. However I had bad experience such the place smelling like mold, somehow it they call it a hotel but it looks more like a motel which I think they should change the name for that I would never recommend anybody to stay here not even my own enemies

anybody know anything about the handicapped room on the first floor? (maybe 117)
Answer from oceangrlz
Salt Lake City, Utah325 contributions117 helpful votes
What I can say is that the room we stayed in, which was on the first floor in the unattached building and was a suite, seemed to be completely handicap accessible. It was the only room left available, a suite, but was not designated as a handicap room. There was a lot of room but unfortunately, we were less than thrilled, (read my post) with the accommodations. We are going this weekend to the Dixie Palm and I will post photos and a review of that motel when we arrive back this Sunday. Please watch for that post and you may choose to stay there instead. It was just as affordable and the reviews were all very positive and as recent as July of this year.
