The title of this hotel is a bit deceptive. It's actually not on Hilton Head Island, but in Bluffton right at the bridge leading to the island. This location is actually very good---near many shops and restaurants in Bluffton, but quick access to all parts of the island. We were here for only one night. Our King Suite actually had a partial view of the lovely marsh area at the bridge. The room had the usual traits of a 2-room suite---separate sitting area, kitchenette, two TV's, etc. It had a fairly large bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sink. It was bright and airy. The hotel is back some from busy US278, so the room was quiet. Overall, we had no issues at all with the room. Free parking is in a garage under the hotel or right outside in an open lot. There is an outside pool. Staff were friendly. So what's not to like---thus, the 5-star review.

Hotel was great and clean. Breakfast was typical, but fine. A little hard to find the entrance, but we managed. We booked on Priceline and when we showed up they asked for our credit card to have on file for "incidentals" and then the hotel charged our card for the room. We didn't notice until after we checked out. We called and asked the hotel to fix it. No response after 4 days. We disputed the second charge with our credit card company, but after corresponding with the hotel the credit card company decided to approve the second charge and then file a dispute with Priceline, which I am sure they will approve as well. So it's pretty much turning into a nightmare stay. We might stay again, but we'd have to be hyper vigilant about monitoring the credit card to make sure the people at the front desk don't do something stupid again.

We stayed here one night. It was very quiet. The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. The staff was professional. We had no issues at all at this Hilton. We checked out early, so we didn't try the breakfast. The price was very reasonable, comparatively to other properties in the area. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
