I’m not one to write many reviews, especially bad ones but we attended a wedding here, and were very disappointed with the cleanliness and the service. The wedding itself was beautiful, but the rest was disappointing.
Our room was gross there was dust, cobwebs, stains, sticky floor. We were supposed to have a 2 queen room but the beds are most definitely not queens.
There was no toilet paper in the lobby restrooms pretty much for an entire day.
We stayed the night before the wedding (Saturday) because of the rehearsal. The restaurant was ill prepared, and only had 1 server for our large party along with other guests. We were told that they were out of chicken wings, but saw her brining them to other tables. The waitress was polite and I don’t think it was her fault, but because she was thrown into the situation the service was on the poorer end.
The nightshift bartender was extremely rude and had a childish attitude. I stood at the bar for a good 10 minutes (she was busy so that’s totally fine) but then my husband joined me, she noticed HIM shortly after and addressed him even though I had been standing there long before. I ordered a cranberry vodka and she looked at me like I was stupid and replied with an attitude saying “It’s a vodka cran” and rolled her eyes. I wasn’t aware that there was a difference LOL! She called someone a derogatory name because they wanted water. She called people names because of the chaser they wanted for their shots. She was just extremely rude and has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We left shortly after the wedding ended on Sunday but I was told she continued her immature petty behavior.
The day shift bartender was incredible though, and did a great job handling all of the patrons before the wedding.
Everyone who worked the actual wedding was very nice and helped make the reception run smoothly, it was a great time.
All in all, the wedding was beautiful, but the stay and service was disappointing. We will never be returning or recommending this establishment.
