We went on vacation with my parents at Westgate Las Vegas. This was our second time visiting since we transferred our timeshare from Westgate Towne Center in Florida to Westgate Las Vegas in 2022. Our stay was horrendous for many reasons. We reserved two adjoining rooms. First, we arrived on May 4, Saturday at around 7:00 pm. Our concierge, Nellie, was initially welcoming until we declined her offer to attend the Owner's Welcome/Breakfast. We informed her that we traveled all day and we just wanted to have dinner and rest. She walked us to our room and informed us that we had a $200.00 credit in our account and to use it before it expired. We had dinner in the hotel. We informed the Maitre D that we wanted to use the credit that Nellie told us about. We were advised by the Maitre D to charge it to our room. On the day we checked out, we saw the charge of $200.00. We contested the charge and were directed to the Owner's area where we saw Nellie. We confronted her, and she responded that she never said we had credit.
Second, we requested our room to be cleaned on Monday, May 7. We were informed that rooms are cleaned every 3rd day for which they said it will be the following day, Tuesday. The rooms were not cleaned as stated. There were still dirty towels on the floor and the trash cans were not emptied in the bathrooms. The only trash that was emptied was in the kitchen. We called housekeeping and the person who picked up was not helpful. We went down to the front desk to speak to the manager. The receptionist said the manager was busy and was on a call. However, when we said we were owners, her tone changed. Suddenly, there was another manager who could speak to us. The manager came out and listened to us, apologized, and promised that he would send housekeeping immediately. When we returned to our room, my mother said that when she opened the refrigerator to warm up some food, she noticed that food and beverages were gone. We called the front desk again and reported it. The Security manager and housekeeping came, investigated, wrote the incident, and promised that an investigation would occur. We were informed that the report will be sent to my email. A week later, we called Westgate asking for the report. We got the runaround and never received any report!!! This was a different experience from Westgate, Florida where we were owners for over twenty years! This was such a disappointment.
