A relic of old Las Vegas

Reviewed Nov 29, 2022via mobile
This resort has seen better days.
The rooms are old and need of updates. The cafe/restaurant is very sparse when it comes to food choices. And is only open for breakfast and lunch. The other restaurant is overpriced.
The grounds are well kept.
Close enough to walk to the convenience stores but not to any major restaurants.
Staff was friendly but not overly concerned about its guests.
The little gift shop is pathetic and wasn’t even open for four days. Little to nothing to buy in it.
Rooms were big and spacious. Bed was average.
Cable tv selections below average. Kitchenette was a plus
Bathroom was very nice but the towels were cheap. Room was cleaned daily and the towels changed. That’s a plus. The minus is that there was little to no water pressure in the shower. Not fun .
Overall the hotel served its purpose . Be prepared to walk a lot as the layout of the grounds is spread out.
Enjoy your stay here. It’s a little over a mile to walk to the main drag of downtown.
Carpet in the room was horrible and peeling.

We saw the Carpenters Legacy show. The resort has a restaurant and a bar. There is also a gift shop. The theater is small, but they do have good sound and some special effects. The staff was polite. There is a large parking lot but no parking garage. We only saw the show and didn't stay at the resort. We live in Las Vegas and just came for the show. It did seem to be a welcoming place.

So this place is a dated mess and our room smelled like cigs but the thing that made me the most unsettled was that we were charged extra upon arrival for the wifi and the pool (it was January and I told them that we had no intention of using the pool as it was 45 degrees).

Stay was 8/11/2022-8/14/2022 Alexis park Resort is by far the worst place in las vegas. I do appreciate i could check in early. But Ya I'm on my 4th room and it's an upgraded one at that first one had mouse poop from kitchen area to bathroom and it was Dirty I'm like tf is happening and there was blood on wall and floor . The front desk lady aka front office manager Yeraldi rojas was calling me a liar with out saying it. She was arguing the point that it was not mouse poop but it was debry, and I'm like are you serious why would I make a false statement. The customer is alwasys right 2nd room had someone's toenail clippings all over and lots of dead bugs open half full water bottle and soda bottles under the bed and then the rain comes and the ceiling is leaking...tf I'm lose my composer all this started around 1230pm on the 11th and now at 10 pm on the 11th im moving to a 4th room due to rain and the room leaking tf......and management the front desk manager I believe her name is Yeraldi Rojas and gm is Micheal Moreno I I have called him since monday the 11-15-2022 and left daily messages and no response so what do I do.

I stayed here and also held my wedding here.

The rooms are a bit dated but large and have fridges and the parking is free! There is no room service currently but there is a bar and restaurant on site. The rooms are clean. There are 3 pools and it's slightly off the strip so nice and relaxing.

For my wedding everyone was raving about how great the food was and how enjoyable the wedding was. They accommodated everyone with assorted diets and allergies so everyone could eat, not only that but that it was all delicious and presented in a great way.

Nice hotel, located about 1 mile from the strip.
Trying to do laundry, I first got charged 5USD for detergent, only to find out that an app is required that only works with US phone numbers. Staff is unhelpful, has no solution and is blaming an external company running the machines (instead of having it fixed or letting the patrons use one of their phone numbers). Solving that with a US friends phone number, only to find out that the app takes a 10USD minimum charge.
