They put us in the room that wasn't ready and then they bumped us down two rooms paid for an ocean view room and the windows was so bad we couldn't even see through them and I complained the next day and the management was terrible absolutely terrible they should not be working with guests ask for some sort of refund and basically laughed in my face

During your stay we offered you another room when you complained that there was condensation on the windows that was obstructing your view. You declined stating that it was only one night and that it was not a big deal and that you didn’t want to speak to a supervisor. Surprisingly, the next morning you demanded a full refund due to the view being impeded by the condensation. We offered to reduce your rate to a first floor non view rate and you declined. You called us after your stay and we repeated the offer of a discount, which today over email you accepted. We understand you wanted a full refund and requested a free room from the moment you checked in 2 hrs early. We’re sorry we weren’t able to make you happy during your stay.

My family is local and had booked with another hotel with an indoor pool so that our kids could get some swimming in. That hotel had closed its pool and refused to refund us. The anchorage got us the perfect room for less than we were going to pay at the other garbage facility and it was the best stay. The staff was amazing and so helpful and kind. They had two indoor pools that were clean and well cared for. We will be back!

We stayed at the Anchorage for April 2022, on wedding anniversary trip to Maine. I was told by an employee when we toured inn, about a special they were running which included a voucher for dinner. When we checked in 6 days later, we had to pry the voucher out of the front desk, saying it was not in the computer. I gave them all the details their employee had given me and they released a voucher.
However at check out time they charged more than the price quoted

We offer a dinner package in the off season during a 2 night stay. This does cost more than a standard $89 room as the dinner usually has a value of about $100. We encourage all guests to read their confirmation emails. We understand there can be miscommunications during the booking process, but we clearly state what was booked in those emails. Guests can add the dinner package to their stay at any time if available, but it isn’t free and there is a small up charge for it.

Spent two nights there. Rooms were clean and functional...beds comfortable. Fridge in room worked great Desk personnel WERE NOT MASKED. Reservations said king with a view. Room had no view but manger switched us no problem. Nice indoor pool and whirlpool but you must go outside to access the building which contain these and checking. WALLS NOTICEABLY THIN!!!! Nice restaurant across the street
This was the third hotel during our Fall Foliage tour. The tour guests were located in the annex. The staff was extremely welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our one night across from the Atlantic. We dined twice at the restaurant across the street. Highly recommended.
Note: There is an indoor lap pool in the annex.
